BSCB Domestic Abuse and Child Protection

It is a requirement that you have attended either the BSCB's ‘Working Together’ or ‘Everyone’s Responsibility’ course before attending this course.
To enable participants to understand the range of ways in which children may be affected by domestic violence.
- To identify the wide range of behaviour involved in domestic violence.
- To recognise different attitudes and myths in relation to children, women and domestic violence and the varying responses of agencies.
- To indicate the harmful impact of domestic violence on children and young people.
- To consider appropriate inter-agency responses to domestic violence in line with local and national guidance (DASH (Domestic Abuse, Stalking & Harassment Form) – MARAC (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference)).
Members of staff, from all disciplines, who have had the introduction to child protection training within their own agencies and have attended the ‘Working Together’ or ‘Everyone’s Responsibility’ course.
Staff from all agencies who already have some awareness of what is meant by domestic violence. Awareness courses are provided through The Community Safety Team at Buckinghamshire County Council, Contact: email@example.com
