Safeguarding and Self Neglect
Do you work with adults at risk? Got responsibilities for adult safeguarding (as either a professional adviser or operational/strategic manager)? Or are you caring for someone as a paid carer or family member/friend?
This informative and wide-ranging course will help you identify when someone is a victim of self neglect.
This course has been designed to help you work with people who are victims of self neglect. This is a new issue for Adult Safeguarding and for many people working in this field. The aim of this course is to equip you with the skills to be able to identify when someone is neglecting themselves and to then work with them to support them from further abuse.
We hope this course will equip you with skills to notice what is happening in our community and to work with us to protect people.
